A General theory of relativity based on the Principle of Universality

چکیده
The Principle of Uniformity (the size of a physical quantity is given by its locally measured value) is replaced by the Principle of Universality (the standard clock and measuring-rod for each observer directly measure identical increments of physical distance throughout the universe). This causes differences in the “coordinate” properties of measuring devices to be interpreted as differences in their physical properties. In the resulting theory, called Propagation-based General Relativity, the measured values for physical distances are transformed between observers by the Generalized Lorenz Transformations x′μ = aα √ (gg)ν x ν , making the measured speed of light a function of one’s gravitational energy. Changes in an observer’s gravitational energy modify his measuring devices by affecting the atomic structure of matter. The deflection of light is predicted without using Huyghen’s Principle. How the measured values of various physical quantities are affected is described. The same result is obtained for the red-shift of light. The De-Broglie wavelength is modified by gravitation: λ = h[(gg)0] 2/p. The Schwarzschild solution is re-examined: The physical size of radial coordinate 2m is 0, a traveler must perceive himself to go an infinite distance to reach the radial coordinate of 2m, and gravitational self-potential energy reaches a minimal value at the radial coordinate 3m. Therefore, black holes can not exist in this theory; Gravitational collapse forms hyper-massive star-like objects (hyperstars) instead. It is speculated that quasars are hyperstars, and that each galaxy forms from the matter ejected by a quasar/hyperstar which becomes the galaxy’s central object. 04.20.Cv, 04.40.Dg, 04.70.-s, 98.62.Ai, 98.63.Js Typeset using REVTEX E-mail: [email protected]

The Principle of Relativity: From Ungar’s Gyrolanguage for Physics to Weaving Computation in Mathematics
This paper extends the scope of algebraic computation based on a non standard $times$ to the more basic case of a non standard $+$, where standard means associative and commutative. Two physically meaningful examples of a non standard $+$ are provided by the observation of motion in Special Relativity, from either outside (3D) or inside (2D or more), We revisit the ``gyro''-theory ...

In the second self-creation theory of gravitation and in the general theory of relativity, Bianchi type VI0 cosmological model in the presence of viscous fluid is studied. An exact solution of the field equations is given by considering the cosmological model yields a constant decelerations parameter q=constant and the coefficients of the metric are taken as A(t)=[c1t+c<su...
متن کاملO ct 2 00 4 Doing without the Equivalence Principle ∗
In Einstein's general relativity, geometry replaces the concept of force in the description of the gravitation interaction. Such an approach rests on the universality of free-fall—the weak equivalence principle—and would break down without it. On the other hand, the teleparallel version of general relativity, a gauge theory for the translation group, describes the gravitational interaction by a...
متن کاملLorentz Transformation from Symmetry of Reference Principle
The Lorentz Transformation is traditionally derived requiring the Principle of Relativity and light-speed universality. While the latter can be relaxed, the Principle of Relativity is seen as core to the transformation. The present letter relaxes both statements to the weaker, Symmetry of Reference Principle. Thus the resulting Lorentz transformation and its consequences (time dilatation, lengt...
متن کاملEinstein structures on four-dimensional nutral Lie groups
When Einstein was thinking about the theory of general relativity based on the elimination of especial relativity constraints (especially the geometric relationship of space and time), he understood the first limitation of especial relativity is ignoring changes over time. Because in especial relativity, only the curvature of the space was considered. Therefore, tensor calculations should be to...
